So Baffert's vet supposedly recommended this cream (one which we have used with our dogs to deal with yeast infections in the ears - ears=Oto in Otomax) to treat the skin rash.
Unless I've missed it by not clicking on every link that exists surrounding this story, what I'd like is a little journalism on what's NORMALLY prescribed by racing vets for a skin fungus. Medina Spirit's definitely not the only one who's had this. I know I've seen conditions like what the pictures show once or twice on horses in my old trainers' barns. I'm sure it's not the first one Bob's had in all his years either. But suddenly - Otomax? With the "no amount allowed in raceday testing" Betamethasone?
