the one thing about saratoga this year is that you are getting great story's out of the place.leon blewsowitz winning with a first time starter, of course he will be in the travers stakes, that has been the downfall of his training career, spotting horses over their heads consistantly. yet leon is one of the most fun guys in the racing game for the last 35 years. he does know how to train as good as anyone, and he got alot of war story's from his days as a tug boat operater in maryland bay.

now we have this tim snyder deal with lisa's boobytrap. great story and great job by trainer running against the nuts and bolts guys in saratoga. these are happenings that racing should build on, where the little guy does good. i am sure everyone is rooting for these 2 characters to do well.

leon if you are listening to me, please don't run in the travers and try to find a good 1x up at the spa and give your horse a chance like he deserves. he has to go up against horses that have full 2 year old seasons behind them and many races at 3. with a little patience your horse will be real good at the end of the year and hopefully he will be able to run against older in florida in the winter.
