From all I have heard he is one of the nicest guys in the industry. I constantly see people on here bashing him, but I think his voice and style were perfect for Tampa Bay. This is not an easy job to do.
I heard from one of my friends in the industry that when he got Covid, Richard sent him a hand written note and neither of us are local, not even in the same time zone. It meant a lot to my friend so that tells me what a good guy he must be.
I wish him nothing but happiness in his retirement.
