I'm a Jersey guy - not NY or Philadelphia
- but my granddad lived on Staten Island and bought the NY Daily News every day. And my Dad worked in Trenton but still bought the NY Journal-American every work day. I can only remember Jimmy Cannon from that paper and, in truth, only his name in the Sports section.
I'm keeping the legacy going by buying the NY Post every day. Phil Mushnick is my Dick Young/Jimmy Cannon.
