Yes, the very fact that Delta Downs is owned and operated by BOYD GAMING (a publicly traded company...and publicly traded companies don't like bad publicity) is the real kicker here. The casino rakes in the money and can't come up with any extra $$$ to see these unwanted horses meet a better end to their racing careers....yeah...right...they just don't give two shits.
People should put the heat on BOYD GAMING ($35.28/share at the moment) if they ever hope to see any sort of action when it comes to DED horses being sent to slaughter...
