Forbes has the Knicks estimated at the highest NBA franchise ~3.3B , for whatever that's worth.
The Knicks make little effort to develop, or even to buy a high quality on-court basketball product.
The effort that they do make involves media and marketing (such as using Phil Jackson and Melo in their media effort).
The current Knicks ownership almost seems to derive pleasure from flaunting the Knicks great
market position, and the fact that they don't rely on on-court quality to generate revenue value.
