Just recapping, first pick 5 paid squat, so who cares about 4 of 5. Late pick 5 came back over 20 K for 20 cents. Yikes. Certainly wouldn't have been impossible for me to pull it down, once again I was 4 of 5, just takes doing the right thing. Hate to let opportunities like that get away
, but this is the game we play. On the other hand a $48 ticket coming that close to a really nice score certainly provides a little optimism from the usual parade of chalk. Obviously, with the late scratch in the last leg, with the favorite losing at odds on really opened this up and my 3rd horse just got there. These are the types of things you want to happen when you are live going into the race, not when you are dead.
