1. Because the USA has been a member. You think Russia scared of FRANCE?:
2. Seeing how it has worked so well, what reason is there for those benefiting from it pay their share?
3. The biggest cause of WWII is that Europe sat on their butts and allowed Germany to rebuilt and seek revenge - THEY were lazy cowards afraid to do anything about it. Explain to me why we should allow them to once again sit back and wait for us to have to bail them out.
