Circle Of Friends (15-1) June 6 Race 6... Was claimed for 62,500 in his race just before the break for MacRae and was bet down after the extended break as the 3-1 betting favourite. He spent most of last year in over his head running in overnight stakes and a couple graded races. At the start he was left a length slow to the field forcing him to run mid-pack for the first part of the race, then was three wide in the turn with no cover halfway thru the turn he lost contact with the front runners and finished evenly in the stretch without being abused by Husbands.... Keeps Husband as the rider but again is entered in way over his head with the likes of Pink LLoyd and Dixie's Gamble in here, should be good enough to run at least second with the additions of blinkers, wish they would keep him in a class where he could get major checks more often.
