The parking companies I worked for expect our attendants to keep their cool at all times with irate customers. If they did not, they were history. Try dealing with a drunken Husker fan after a home loss who had his car towed because parked where he should not have. I had one employee lose his job because he got into a shouting match in just that situation. I guarantee he was making less than a third of what the cop was making and had no where the training. If we expect a parking lot attendant to keep his cool under all circumstances, why should we expect less from a police officer?
