I'm still holding out hope a few states secede again and create their own hard currency so I don't have to leave the country (at least geographically) when the poop hits the fan and the dollar collapses, government spending on the welfare state gets gutted, violence breaks out, and all hell breaks loose.
I feel like I'm in a race. Which is going to come first?
1.The economic collapse.
2. Me learning how to handicap turf sprints and heading to Australia.
3. Me dying (preferably of old age).
I'm sort of worried about that whole turf sprint thing. I may die of old age before I figure that out.
