they were very sharp, they hired the very same jury consulting firm that OJ Simpson had. that's what money can buy, and they proved that you should never plead out.
the other case in Georgia is a way different story.. they had terrible lawyers, and if i was sitting in their chairs, i would take off and hope the law never catches them.
i knew a guy that went on trial for murder, his name was Miles Connor's. he had bail and the jury was out, he screwed and the jury brought back an innocent verdict. he wound up doing a year for contempt of court.
