Sometime during the early- or mid-1980s they tore up the entire track (went pretty deep in the ground as well) and banked the turns comparative to Windsor Raceway.
As I recall it, there is a mere eighteen feet of track surface that is level.
FWIW, up until that time of the re-banking the trotting track record was still held by the 1962 Hambletonian winner A. C.'s Viking (Sanders Russell), whom set the Northville Downs record in 1963.
Had the turns not be re-banked, I often speculate that A. C's would still hold the record
