Back when Carter was president we did not have the strong left lean of most of the media and entertainment industry. Johnny Carson bagged any politician he could, anyone was fair game, fast forward to today you have 3 late night talk show hosts who will never utter a bad word about Biden. Carter was a decent human being and was liked by most all after he left office. Joe Biden is a first class scum. If you apply the track variant Biden is the worst ever, by far. There isn't a damn thing about him that is likeable. I must admit he is way worse than I imagined.
