Why is this guy from Real Clear Politics really opposed to this legislation? Maybe it’s the provision that says any person knowingly making false accusations of election fraud is subject to fines up to $100,000 and prison up to five years.

Just another crime to charge Donald with. Of course we can’t do that due to the Constitutional prohibition on ExPost Facto laws.
The Nuremberg Laws were legally passed as well.
Being legal and being right are not always the same.
