If your going to stream you really don't need to save content. It's on demand. The faster your internet the better the experience.
I have tried most and in fact have a few Amazon sticks -upstairs.

My intent is finding the balance of what is available content free with the device plus a high end antenna for local channels in HD. And spending more time in casino race books as this Covid-19 nightmare winds down. I am ready to cut the cord, just need to learn a few new tricks first.
Just between us I am a bit of a horse racing junkie who will want to save races.
Some time back when I was a whole lot younger and first started up with the wife, we hung out at Rockingham Parks clubhouse in the back free section with Trainer Ralph Politano's brother and others. So I learned to read the form like a trainer but also how to watch races like one to. Specifically to understand when a horse has run its last race and its tank is empty next out and will need a few even if it looks good on paper. When you combine that in addition to knowing moves specific trainers do it is worth it.
On a different note I have scooped media at Goodwill By The Pound, thousands of CD & DVD original legal content. So my AV room has two large bookcases loaded. The Pound you can have all the CD/DVD you can stand for $1.49 a pound, I filled up a half size spindle the other day about a buck. Computer cables or anything electronic is only .20 cents a pound, the media I discard plastic cases instead of paying the weight.
