am I remembering this right? - I seem to remember somebody writing that Ragozin somehow took into account
the wind.
thinking about him made me remember something else but I can't remember where it came from
the bounce theory
I think it pertained mostly to claimers and low level allowance horses
it was something like this as I recall:
after a horse ran 2 good races he was due to bounce and have a bad race
