I don't have a strong opinion on Justify one way or the other. I think he's better than he looks on some speed figures, but I don't think he's as good as American Pharoah was at the same stage unless he's had minor issues he was running through during the Triple Crown. Baffert has a better line on the horse than anyone else. He knows what's actually been going on. IMO, if the horse is not gaining weight, getting stronger, and moving forward I don't think he's going to send him out there to embarrass himself against older horses even if he's sound.
