Funny, are you referring to the marathon race at MNR a few yrs ago (maybe 5 to 7 yrs ago--can't remember exactly) when a jockey thought the first time around was the finish of the race? He was first under the wire and then stopped riding. What made it even better (as long as you didn't bet that horse) was the announcer called the race as if it was over. It was the former MNR announcer. After the race, the announcer came on and apologized for his screw up. For some reason, I think the rider was a Stokes, but not sure. Does anyone remember this?
