Yes, I singled his horse in a $1 Pick 3 that returned $110. I've noticed that he seems to do very well with David Cohen as the jockey. They don't always win, of course, but they hit the board a lot.
Another trainer I've been watching is Peter Miller at Santa Anita. He had three horses yesterday that all hit the board. One won at 6/1 (race 8), one placed at 9/5 (race 1) and the other showed at 10/1 (race 7). Returned $38.80 for an $18 outlay based on $2 bets. I haven't really paid much attention to him until recently so I'm not sure how he's doing longer term.
