...Denmark may be one of the happiest places on Earth, but Danes weren’t exactly smiling when Fox Business Network host and MarketWatch alum Trish Regan last weekend unleashed a diatribe comparing the Scandinavian country to Venezuela.
Regan’s segment was met with responses from multiple Danish government officials, like this tweet from the finance minister:

Jensen would later add to his rebuttal.
“Denmark ranks 12 in economic freedom, Venezuela ranks 179. It’s simply egregious,” he told the New York Times in an interview. “It made me angry to see such an erroneous image of Denmark. Trish can think whatever she wants about Denmark, but on a factual basis.”
And on Wednesday, Social Democrat and Member of Parliament Dan Jørgensen offered up a point-by-point video rebuttal and, borrowing a clip from “your beloved president,” concluded with “you are fake news.”
