Thumbs Down
To racetrack owners Frank Stronach (Santa Anita and Golden Gate Fields) and Jack Liebau (Hollywood Park), who don't campaign their horses in California. What message does that send about California's product that two track owners run their horses in the Midwest and East Coast?

Of course, Liebau doesn't "own" Hollywood Park. He is just the GM there. And, not following a lot of racing details anymore, I don't know what horses either guy is campaigning or where. I do recall a Liebau maiden winning in the east recently, either at Toga or Monmouth.
