Pioneer Lad could be sitting on a big race and should get a great trip close to the pace on the rail. Pioneer has some back class and has shown to have a lot of talent, this field doesn't have many world beaters. I will happily take 8-1 with a horse that is feeling good with a trainer heating up, some nice back class, a jockey who knows this horse well and proven at track.
