Vulnerable favourite on the card:
Race 2 My Winner (3-1): Had a little trouble in his last race after running pretty even, but I don’t trust horses that were 48-1 in their last without proving he should be 3-1 now.

Race 479 (Winners: 1st & 9th, second: 4th)
Race 2 Happy Surveys (13-1)
Race 4 Master Viking (15-1)

In the event of rain these horses have shown an appreciation for soft footing. (Good to Yielding or Yielding):
Race 2 Regency Darling (8-1)
Race 3 Extremely Fun (20-1)
Race 4 Master Viking (15-1)
Race 7 Calculation (6-1)

Last race watch list horses:
Race 7 What Else But You (2-1): Had been away from the track for 10 months, and was well received at the windows for trainer Size being bet down as the 2-1 favourite. He hit the side of the gate at the start causing him to lose a couple lengths to the field, commenced to race at the back half of the pack, half-way thru the turn moved to the three path while racing against a very strong rail bias, closed well after Teetan asked him for run midway thru the stretch.

Race 8 Shanghai Dragon (5-1): In his third lifetime start after he showed a very impressive debut two back when he ran 3rd a half-length back to Eighty Eighty (60) then ran 2 lengths behind Silver Fig (57) in his next race. Picked up the top rider Purton for this race (Moreira was suspended on this day), he was able to get him into the race soon after the break then heading into the turn Zach got him to take back and let Multimax (44) and the eventual winner Golden Dash (66) fight it out of the front end. At the 700 metre mark he started to fight Purton when he was wanting to run but he was now trapped in on the rail, he finally started to relax at 300 metres, unfortunately was still blocked and then had to move down near the rail when Multimax started to tire and drifted out into his lane and finished evenly afterwards.

Race 8 Vital Springs (2-1): Raced right off the pace while running on the rail which was by far the best place to be that day, was full of run entering the stretch but was now boxed in on the rail. At the 300 metre mark room became available, but as soon as he stuck his head into the opening Smiling Charm (60) came down onto him forcing Ho to take him up stopping all of his momentum from going forward, all the while winner Sonic Fighter (63) was taking full advantage of his circumstance. Once he was removed of that problem he swung in behind the winner and regathered himself and was gaining late on Sonic Fighter at the wire.

Race 10 Harmony Hero (9-5): After 2 easy wins in Australia and some impressive barrier trials he was bet down as the 3-2 favourite. When he came onto the track he really started acting up and continued this behaviour all the way to the gate. He did draw a very unfavourable gate with the short run to the turn in a 1,200 metre race, at the start he broke a step slow then make a quick move to the leaders but Berry was unable to find any room near the wire and was forced four wide while not getting any cover. He was passed by the winner Super Wise (73) who had a much easier trip at the top of the stretch, he flattened out soon afterwards and finished evenly. Should improve off the experience of an actual true right hand race.
