So, except for a tiny percentage, the banks are raising the wages of no one.
In return for which, their tax rate is being reduced by 40%.

The average salary for a bank teller as of Jan. 2018 is 27,825 per year. That's 13.38/hr. The range is 23K to 33k over 21,402 surveyed. Bank tellers are disappearing at an alarming rate even before the wage hikes.
