Last race watch list horses running tonight:
Race 3 One Voice (9-5) Was bet down as the 6-5 favourite after being away for 160 days after bleeding in his last, raced mid-pack chasing the hotly contested pace, was a little wide entering the stretch and looked like he was going to run by the perfect trip winner (64) but the found himself a little short after the long break and couldn't reel the winner in the stretch.

Race 6 Secret Vision (8-1) Was full of run entering the stretch but tried to split a couple runner and had to check up with 250 when he was even with the eventual winner.

Race 8 Lucky Sweynesse (4-5) In his first try at Class 1 for the Man barn picked De Sousa for the ride. Settled in the third flight three wide entering the turn chasing the lone speed that eventually finished 7th, early in the turn moved down to the two-path causing quite a mishap that caused a few runners to check up and De Sousa losing 2 racing days. Moved to the leader entering the stretch, was given a pop at the 300 and quickly ran away from the field while drifting to the rail, was under a hand ride for the final 75 metres. He picked up another 14 points now putting him at 112 which is graded stakes ratings.

Race 8 Cordyceps Six (5-1) Had been away from the races for 132 days, was bet down as the 4-5 betting favourite with a top form rating. Stalked the pace early while in the middle of the track, moved to the tiring leaders with 250 metres to go but couldn't hold off the 1.000 metre second up specialist at Sha Tin winner (110) with 50 metres to go.

Race 9 Midori Beauty (5-1) Was bet down as the 6-5 betting favourite after being away for 92 days, was given a top form rating. Was left at the start losing (4L) to the field, raced in the rear while the winner (69) was sitting just off the pace setter who was setting a very fast pace. Moved to the middle of the track and was closing on the perfect trip winner all the while he was all over the track. Going to be a nice one when he figures things out.

Race 9 Victor the Winner (3-2) After winning his two barrier trials he was bet down as the 6-5 betting choice in his debut at a rating of 52 for the Shum barn. Broke well and was able to get control of the early pace without too much pressure. Held his clear lead entering the stretch, was nudged at the 300 mark and quickly opened up and ran away from the field, Poon stood up on him for the final 75 metres after not feeling the whip once, next runner was 3 1/4 back being the high weight first time runner in Class 4 that closed from the rear. He picked up 12 rating points to put him at 64 and in Class 3 which he should be able to handle.

Race 10 The Irishman (10-1) Had been away from the track for 203 days and picked up the services of Purton for the first time while drawing the rail. Settled in the third flight in on the rail chasing a quickly set pace while under a stranglehold with his ears straight up in the turn. Entering the stretch, he was even with the eventual winner but couldn't match his kick him already having a race under his belt after the summer break. Now that he has race, he should have enough condition to get up next time out.
