Ima Single Man (7-2) His first race in 141 days was bet down as the 4-1 favourite in a nice Class 2 field, had a perfect trip taking the lead at the 300 and was caught when he just ran out of gas at the 50 metre mark.

Big Me (7-5) First time starter for Fownes was bet down as the 8-5 favourite after the positive barrier trials, was left at the start (2L) closed in the middle of the track and took over with 150 to go from the tiring pace setter that broke from the far outside post and raced on the inside rail, held off the trouble tripped first up easily, gets one more go in Class 4 and should be able to handle that.

Happy Daily (6-1) Was blocked for a good part of the stretch and just missed by a head to a much easier trip winner that was carrying 12 less pounds.

Fun N Glory (14-1) Finally a decent draw as a beaten favourite in his last 133 days ago on a yielding track. Wasn't fast enough to chase down the first-time starter for the Size barn that drew away from the field, may have been just a little short after the long break and the high weight he had to carry.
