Race 3
Big Two (5-1) Won his last easily in Class 4 just before the summer break after looking like he was going to be a hanger for Whyte. Was bet down as the 7-2 betting favourite in his first try of the new year, then at the start he reared losing a couple lengths to the field and forcing him to race a lot farther back than where he prefers to be which caused him to be rank for the first half of the race. He never got into the race and was only given one lick of the stick by Hewitson, totally forgive the effort.
Race 7
Drops of God (3-2) Added blinkers after a disappointing effort in his first up for the new season while being very wide in the turn. Purton picked up the mount for the second time at a track he has yet to find a win at. Was caught a little off guard at the start losing a length to the field, settled in the fourth flight in on the rail, was full of run entering the stretch while being stuck behind three runners with nowhere to go. At the 180 mark had to be taken up when the eventual winner Street Scream (66) drifted into his path, he finished well but couldn't make up the difference from that issue.
