This is truly a great story. No one could ever make this stuff up.
Think about it. He names the horse after his wife who died of ovarian cancer and his favorite strip club. This alone I find interesting. Lets not forget the horse is blind in one eye and has a club foot. Then as this story is unfolding someone offers him 1/2 a million for the horse. And, the horse is undefeated. Plus, the wife said she was coming back as a horse. Now all the fans are screaming and cheering for him. What did I miss?
I saw LBT win at Saratoga. I was standing at the winners circle. You can look at his face and tell he's been around the block and back. When he talks about his wife during interviews the love he still has for her shows in his eyes and words.
This is the best story to come out of racing in a long time. God bless Tim Snyder. I hope he goes all the way with this horse.
