I am not arguing scratches labeled as "off turf" may have been confusing. Certainly it was at odds with there being no label for the race "surface turf changed to dirt" as there was for the races at that time which had been switched to the main track.
This was done at the track level and it was corrected by Equibase personnel more than an hour before first post, for races 4 and 14 only.
