I just saw the booking photos. I think that explains looking like a vegetable at his court appearance. Pretty sure that beating gave him a nice concussion among other things. The drugs to stop headaches and pressure from concussions can make a non drinker and or a person not use to medications that cause drowsiness pretty loopy. Personal experience, we all know the excellent medical care prisoners get.
