That is demonstrable false given we've already had several horrific politically motivated terrorist attacks and several smaller ones by Muslims on our soil. That doesn't even count all the efforts that were thwarted that we do or don't know about because the authorities didn't want people to panic.
It's understood that not all Muslims are radicals. We are dealing with probabilities. You don't open your border to any group where x% are borderline insane, don't want to assimilate, have entirely different values etc... when "x" is significantly greater than what would appear in a general population. So Syrian refugees are obviously out of the question to anyone with even partial brain function.
Europe is learning basic math.
