It wouldn't surprise me if the HKJC offered to pay his way over. Having a KY Derby in the field looks good on paper, raises the international profile, esp among American racing fans who by and large are oblivious to the big HK races.
Still doubt he will go though, just wishful thinking on the part of the HKJC.
Agreed...me thinks Chip Woolley has no choice with these owners...and I would bet if he told thre truth...he'd say MTB going over there is ridiculous!
