I know people like to think guys like him just have a needle and that's the whole of his success, In this instance the realty is a little different.
While everyone else at Parx was training in their shedrow he shipped a group of horses to this obscure training center in New Jersey...

You'll note most of his horses even show works there. I've even seen some with two works. It's WST in the form.
So say you what you will about Ramon but he running horses who appears to have weeks of track work against horses that jogged in a shedrow.
So while everyone assumed the Maryland and New York guys would rule (and they have won their fair share of races) Juan Vazquez has won some races (won one today in fact) off the farm he trains in down in Delaware. Mike Pino got stalls at Belmont and has shipped back down and won races and Ramon was at Westampton.
These guys aren't dummies.

The obscure facility you are talking about is as nice as they come. 5/8th training track with a sandy surface, exercise pool, eurocisers(15 of them)so before you start saying something is obscure do a little research. The farm has been a great resource for many top trainers since the current owner has put a lot of money into it over the past 10 years. The farm also serves many breeders as well.
