Yes it will speed up how long it takes to get most people infected. The number of infected that are asymptomatic will increase exponentially.
The people that do not get it are the ones isolated in doomsday bunkers with HEPA air filters.
The vaccination program will never be complete. Boosters every 4-6 months the rest of your life.
