Well a Johnson mask will certainly scare the kids.
It's more likely effigies will be burnt on November 5th. November the 5th is bonfire night over here. It is the date we commemorate the attempt to blow up parliament in 1605. We let off fireworks and have bonfires. Traditionally people put an effigy of Guy Fawkes one of the conspirators on top of the bonfire. The effigies are usually of a man dressed in old cloths and stuffed with a mask on. When I was a kid we used to make our Guy Fawkes and stand near the shops asking for 'a penny for the guy'. Halloween has now sadly overtaken that tradition.
