That's because most middle easteners and Hispanics ARE white.Don't confuse race and ethnicity.Hispanic is a made up term by the Census Bureau referring to people living in the USA who can trace their ancestry to the Spanish speaking countries of the Americas.Thus, people from Brazil are not Hispanics (Porteguese speaking nation) and ironically, neither are people from Spain.The Census Bureau uses the term "Non Hispanic White" to refer to what people traditionally think of as honkies, oops I mean whites
