Evidently there was some smack talking between the Senator and Kimmel and the Senator challenged Kimmel to a one-on-one basketball game. The wager was $5,000 apiece with it going to charity. There were about 8,000 people that showed up to watch.
The original concept was the first one to 15 and leading by 2 wins. Well after 90 minutes or so of half-court basketball they decided to change it to the first one to 11.
Cruz ended up winning 11-9 in almost 2 hours
That means they made a basket approximately every 6 minutes...………………... 6 MINUTES!!!!
Hell CJ and I could have done it in half the time and I am fat and broken and CJ is...……..well he plays tennis
