When you have a model set up you can wait for the scratches and then you let your model dictate your contenders. I normal look for my top 2 or 3. Then I play the track live and use a good ( Hedge, Dutch ) software.
I look for a 200% return on any bet that is not hedged. In other words, I look for longshot situations. I pass a lot of races. I play one or two tracks at most.
