I am surprised that the post office is still delivering. I realize some is delayed and even though they will take money for signature confirmation they are not doing it.
Rental costs are high in California and some people live were they do not have a kitchen. I am sure it is the same in NYC and Chicago, At least in CA they have gas stations with junky food.
So try again and say it even simpler. Why is eating not a essential business?
