If Jesus really wanted his resurrection to be widely accepted...all he had to do was take a stroll down to the well-populated marketplace after his burial. Just because a person endures great suffering and even death in defense of his religious beliefs doesn't mean that those beliefs should be accepted as "True" by anyone else. Misguided martyrs of all religious faiths go through this every day...without really convincing -- or converting -- anyone.
