If Jesus really wanted his resurrection to be widely accepted...all he had to do was take a stroll down to the well-populated marketplace after his burial. Just because a person endures great suffering and even death in defense of his religious beliefs doesn't mean that those beliefs should be accepted as "True" by anyone else.
