When Sen. Tom Cotton wrote a New York Times op-ed piece calling for the National Guard be sent to places like Seattle, Portland, Minneapolis to protect the citizens against violent, Marxist extremists such as Black Lives Matter and Antifa, the left went crazy and a editor of the Times was forced to resign.
Now we're told that Washington DC is under siege by right wing Q-Anon types and guess what? There are 25,000 troops on call.
Our cowardly and stupid politicians are all in calling for the National Guard this time but they provided no accommodations for them. Most must sleep on the floor of the Capitol buildings and elsewhere.
