Race 9

results #5 won paid $8.70***

Unfortunately I bet early so I wasn't watching the toteboard in the 8th race to see my second choice going off at 40-1 or I would have added a place bet. Par for the course so no worries.

My usual rule of thumb of betting second choices to win gave a hit rate of 1/2 and R.O.I of 118%. (or 2.18 as some folks say)
