not sure how it is done everywhere, but I can tell you for all Kentucky tracks, Indiana, Belterra and FL tracks. The jockey commission is withheld from your purse. I have to pay my trainer on my own. The funds are deposited into your account at the track and if I want dispersement from that I account, I go online and request a check. That check is generally processed the next day and mailed the following. Now let me say I have never had a Graded stakes winner so the timing may differ for those
