I don't know if it's because of "global warming"...but Chicago has had by far the warmest February that I have ever seen in my 50 years of living there. 70 degree temperatures have been recorded for several days...with more days in the 60s. And most of the rest of the month has seen temperatures in the 50+ range. Totally unheard of in that region. It's making me think twice about buying a place in Las Vegas.
