Nobody said it was going away.
However (and we can revisit), the near constant infection/death/hospitalization update #s WILL CEASE TO BE REPORTED WITH SUCH VIM AND VIGOR.
And will eventually trickle towards zero reporting in the MSM within a few weeks of Biden taking office.
Not saying there won't be stories on COVID.
Just saying there won't be these daily #s updates complete with charts and graphs...unless of course it starts trending DOWN...when THAT happens, they'll be shouting from the rooftops how great everything is going. (something they did not do when it happened under Trump's watch...trending down numbers were met with "well, this is simply a pause...there will be a big rebound any day now....")
It's all a joke, really, and should be treated as such (not the virus...the media coverage).
