IMO...you don't pay homage to the flag by turning it into an article of clothing. Articles of clothing get dirty...and then end up in filthy laundry piles. Is that the sort of respect that the flag deserves?

Could it be that the "offended" lady needs to grow up and also grow some thick skin? Why did she take it so personally? Could it be that she just doesn't like the stars and stripes and what they symbolize?

You do realize that there are "Americans" out there who don't like the American flag, right?
