Agree. But 3 guys I'd have high up on any list are:
a) Jim Brown, not only the greatest power running back in NFL history, IMO, but also one of the greatest lax players ever, whose novel method of cradling his stick close to his powerful body necessitated implementation of a rule change to force players to keep the arm, stick and ball in motion at all times, known ever since as "The Jim Brown Rule"
b) Bo Jackson, simply because I saw him do things on both the football field and the baseball diamond that boggled the mind
c) Wayne Gretzky, similar to Bo, he seemingly defied the laws of physics with some of maneuvers on the ice and like Jim Brown, he was so dominant in 4-on-4 and 3-on-3 hockey that the NHL had to change the rules on implementing offsetting coincidental penalties to keep both teams at full strength, known as "The Gretzky Rule"
