Never before has a vaccine based on mRNA technology been distributed on a worldwide basis.
This particular brand new vaccine using brand new tech was rushed through the system, and only approved by the FDA on an "emergency use" basis.
The pharmaceutical companies who manufacture these vaccines would not release it to the public UNLESS the United States Federal Government passed a law giving them immunity from liability from any unintended consequences that might result from use of this vaccine. This has rarely if ever happened before.
The AstraZeneca vaccine was just suspended in Europe over reports of "dangerous blood clots in some recipients."
