Trump didn't qualify "illegal" in his "poisoning the blood of our country" reference to immigrants Durham, New Hampshire, and, no doubt, Melania is uncomfortable with Trump's bigoted immigrant rhetoric.
Regardless, it's unclear as to what difference the "legal/illegal" distinction would make to the "blood of our country."
Certainly, a frothing, bloodthirsty, MAGA mob would not distinguish between any legal and/or illegal immigrants that they happen to encounter.
